Trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Toulouse, now ISDAT (Institut Supérieur Des Arts et Du Design de Toulouse), Catherine Guiraud lives and works in Toulouse. She has won several awards, including the "Prix du mécénat culturel en Haute-Garonne". Her work can be found in several collections in the Occitanie region.

Catherine Guiraud focuses on a limited palette of colors, which she applies with great delicacy. Her brush dances, expressing grays, blues, browns and blacks. Catherine uses simple, traditional tools in an experimental way. On paper, she creates eternal spaces, architectural illusions and reveries that emerge from the natural simplicity of emotions.

Catherine Guiraud's abstractions are tender but present, gentle but assertive.
