Latinx is part of a series of serigraphs made from paintings and drawings, portraits of people the artist met in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. All the complexity of Brazilian history is visible in the physical features, but these portraits also register questions of gender, sexuality, geographical origin and other possibilities. “Latinx is inclusive, Japanese, polyamory, gay, non-binary, trans, lesbian, me, white, pretx, open, indigenous.
